They are ideal as added security on an existing door enabling ventilation on a hot days while maintaining a level of security. They also allow full view of visitors before allowing access and are also an ideal and effective security solution as a stand alone item, perhaps over an alleyway between properties.
They are constructed from 16mm or 19mm solid steel round vertical sections continuously welded at 125mm centres to horizontal steel flat section or steel RHS. The whole assembly once manufactured is finished in Polyester Powder Coat paint in a stock colour as standard. The standard lock fitted would be a Chubb 3G114 deadlock.
